Trip to Jordan

We have been away for a week of exploring the Kingdom of Jordan. Couldn’t afford to go away for any longer, so rather than a relaxing holiday in one of the beach resorts, we did our thing. Namely, we hired the sh*ttiest car in the world (1.1l Tata Zest) and drove up and down this incredibly interesting, strangely beautiful, crazy, dusty, mountainous, and very welcoming country. Summer Update from Mountain Utopia with love.

It’s been a busy few months. We’ve done 6 weeks of travelling and volunteering around Europe. Granted, it was pretty intense at times, but very rewarding. We’ve been lucky enough with our shifts stewarding for Oxfam at Download and Glastonbury festivals to see our favourite bands, make new friends and dance our socks off to Kylie. Woo! We have also done a week of cooking at Calais’ Refugee Community Kitchen, and can add ability to make 120 kg batch of hummus, or 350 kg of salad in 4 hrs to our skill set.
